I'm done!!! Done!!! DONE! No more exams! Wahey!
Today's Linguistics exam was Fun. Although I'd have preferred it as an assignment/practice final - not an exam for which you only have three hours to write, and which involved a lot of thinking. It took a lot of effort not to go 'eee!' because there was a question on Irish! Alas, it was a syntax question that left me quaking in my shoes, but, but, but - Irish! Why don't they teach us interesting languages like that at me uni?
I think I like Linguistics enough to take more courses on it - I've figured out that three math classes per semester is the max, max, max that I can stand, which means I might have to stay an extra year, but at least I'll also get to take courses that aren't math-related!
After the exam, which I barely managed to finish, I went to the bookstore, hoping to pick up Carol Berg's Revelation, sequel to Transformation. They had a lot of Carol Berg books there, but no luck with Revelation. Had to run for my piano lesson, and so could not go in any other bookstore, but will go back to do it sometime.
Home for now, feet sore from all the walking and rushing around, hand aching from too much writing.
