I read
this article on changing attitudes among younger American voters, and had one of those "woah" moments.
It's this paragraph:
Fifty-eight per cent of those [18-30 year olds] polled across the U.S. favoured allowing gays and lesbians to adopt children. Almost 50 per cent of them support gay marriage. And almost 70 per cent have no issue with interracial dating or marriage, while most of them are also in favour of making it easier for immigrants to come to the United States.
Read that again closely. Over 30 percent of American 18-30 year-olds have an issue with interracial dating or marriage. That's kind of staggering.
Sometimes the world just isn't what you think it is, I guess.
