A question for the artistically-inclined...
Been thinking about my old screen capture archive on my website, and I'm thinking about changing its focus. There are so many sites out there that just have random screen caps...and I don't want to be another of them, you know? So, I thought I might make my archive one specifically designed to offer good reference shots for the Transformers fan-artists out there. (Along with keeping my goofy pic archive, just because it greatly amuses me. :) ) However, not being an artist myself, I really have no idea what y'all look for in reference shots. So I'd like for y'all to tell me what you look for in reference shots and offer me any suggestions of what you would like to see in such an artist-oriented screen cap archive. Some specific questions:
I'm guessing you'd want single-character shots from all possible angles, yes? With head-shot closeups, I'd imagine?
How about size of the capture? I'm going to re-do my captures from the DVDs so they'll be nice and clear rather than re-upload old ones from crappy VHS tapes, and my software will capture at just about any size. I'm assuming that bigger is better when it comes to reference shots?
Are there any characters that any of you might specifically want pics of? Characters that are hard-to-find, for instance? Any requests? Obviously, this will be a fairly big project and will really only start happening after "Redemption" is finished by the end of this month. But if anyone has any "emergency" requests, I'd fill them first, could perhaps even send you pics before the archive officially opens...
I'm assuming that organization by character is still best, yes?

In other news...LiveJournal seems somehow to have misplaced my default icon. The rest of them are there, but that one has vanished into the ether. Weird... Guess I'll have to re-upload it when I get home...
