Must...post...on...Saturdays...
So... It's Saturday. That means I must post. Question is, what to post?
Well, I have decided that today, once I finish doing this journaling stuff, I am going to work on "Redemption." It's the only way, I think, that I will get this annoying Jeep out of my head. :) Skyfire is calling to me and, actually, I was sort of thinking about him and his "Redemption" stuff last night, deciding that one of the problems with his scenes in the story as they are now is that there is too much dialogue in them. Dialogue-heavy stuff just doesn't work as well in first person as it does in third person. So, that will be the angle from which I approach those scenes today: Replace some of the dialogue so that it's described as opposed to written verbatim. We'll see if I succeed and if it makes me any happier with the scenes. :)
So that's the plan for the day. Exciting, I know. Maybe later I'll post up a bit of "before" and "after" and y'all can tell me if what I did is better or worse than the original. :)
Of course, I'm also in a graphic-y kind of mood and want to work on putting the new board together, too... So if Skyfire gets too ornery, at least I have something to fall back on. :)
