Allergies are bad.
Some very eclectic complaints/general comments! Whee!
1) Woke up this morning being attacked by allergies to...something. It's probably mold since we've had rain the last three days here. Rain is good, yes, especially because prior to this we hadn't had much rain and people were therefore getting antsy about the prospect of fires. So, rain is good...but it also creates mold. And mold is my Mortal Enemy(TM). Or at least it's my immune system's mortal enemy, apparently. If it comes into contact with a few mold spores then -- whoa Nelly! Look out! Sneezing five times in a row every minute or so is No Fun. :P Especially when you're sneezing five times in a row while driving around a roundabout with a state trooper coming the other way around the roundabout and you're having difficulty driving because you can't keep your eyes open while sneezing five times in a row and...*sigh* Hope the medicine I took works. And soon.
2) I wish Certain People would just grow the hell up, you know? (Whoo, how's that for a cryptic complaint? :) Watch Nightwind make people paranoid! *snicker*)
3) I love Carman. Yeah, yeah, he's like way holy roller and all -- often a bit too much over the top for my taste -- but many of his songs are just so...so...creative. And catchy. And stick-in-your-head. And varied. One minute he's doing lounge-lizard crooning, the next he's rapping, the next he's channeling Bob Marley, the next he's doing swing/country, the next he's doing 40s boogie-woogie, the next he's singing this really beautiful ballad, the next...Well, you get the idea, maybe. And...and...I just wuv him, yes. :) So there. I was listening to him in the car while I was DWS (Driving While Sneezing). Can you tell? :)
4) I want to thank everyone for their prayers/well-wishes for frostymook. She's home now and doing well. Just some pain from gas bubbles in her system from the anesthesia. On Tuesday, she gets her 18 staples removed from her incision. We'll see how that goes. :) Anyway, she and I really do appreciate your thoughts. *hugs all*
