So, a co-worker suck.

I come into work this morning, run to register as I clock in as clerk on duty yells for a 2nd checker the moment I come through the doors. Finally get over there so she can get off register as she hates it, and I get:

Co: "Were you the one who did all the cleaning?"
me: *think* oh...oh my. She noticed. Okay. COol. "Umm...like around? yea, I guess." ((Note: I spent two hours on Monday between 2nd checking and deli duty cleaning behind the registers of grime and dirt, swept and mopped. And it's not THAT big of a space. ))
Co: "Beneath the register and stuff?"
me: "Well, no. I didn't touch there." (register heavy, can't move far due to wires)
Co: "Well the sheet with all the additional charge codes is missing!"
me: "I didn't touch under there. I did BEHIND the register, but not under it."
Co: *snaps* "Well, it's missing. Someone else must have thrown it away."
me: *looks on first shelf in case it fell down, waits by register for between customers so she can shove it back to look at the stack.*
Co: "I've already pushed it back to look!"
me: "Oh. Well. I guess it will show up."
Co: *hmmf, hands register over to me.*

I get on register. Push register back....there is paper. Now...here I was going in with a bit of optimism and going: alright half-the-time grumpy/tired co-worker is gonna recognize something cheerfully. She gets points. When, no. All she was doing was bitching about a paper that, quite frankly, is probably easy to get another *updated* copy from the office's files. Seriously? WTF? I don't WANT praise for something like cleaning a general area. I don't expect it, but snapping in front of customers?

Now I KNOW this person is a GOOD person. But don't yap at me for something that wasn't even GONE, and at another co-worker about missing spoons.

YES I threw the spoons and forks under there out. Because 1- They were buried half way back 2- they were half out/unsealed and if you saw the GRIME and regular dust I took off that shelf you wouldn't want to eat off them! I mean, it's not like the boss is going to NOT let you have a pack of 99 cent or 1.19 or whatever they are plastic spoons! Hell, I would have BOUGHT them for you. But, no, sorry, I was just worried about co-workers' health. My bad. I won't do it again.
