[Generation Justice/Plotting post] Open to any character in Gotham City
Sssssssso, I was fiddling with this idea for a new side story and the idea focuses on Clayface v/Cassius "Clay" Payne.
This character was only briefly featured in comics.
He's the son of Clayface III and Lady Clay, he was separated from his parents and grew up in a government laboratory.
Like his parents, Cassius is a shape-shifter and he can melt objects/people with his mind. Also, he can stay in Clayface mode only while awake.
The thing that I found interesting, is that Cassius is but a boy (13/14 tops) and I'd find extremely funny to see Bats and GJers join forces/interact with such a bad element.
Now, I was thinking that Cassius could turn to Batman for help - and here comes the sore point: I still don't know exactly WHY Cass would need our help.
I know that he REALLY cares for his parents and that all he wants is to meet them/be with them. So perhaps, if Clay-mom and Clay-dad were missing or in danger, Cassius would most likely break out of the lab and search for help.
