I've been meaning to write this all week, but I've been too stressed/sick/busy. Thanks to these illnesses, I'm a month behind on everything. First I go to get my health insurance renewed, and I catch an infection that sickens me for weeks.
Now that I'm getting over it, I spend two days in synagogue praying for good health, and there I catch a cold.

The irony is not lost on me.

Two days of sitting in synagogue, and my allergies have worsened to a level I haven't experienced since it helped make my childhood so miserable. My nose is stuffed and constantly running, low grade asthma that won't go away, and now my head is starting to ache.
ENOUGH ALREADY.

I went to the ENT specialist for a third time yesterday. I'm finally starting to feel better, though I'm not all the way there yet, but the swelling in my throat has gone down and I'm feeling less feverish ( Read more... )

Tried to be productive today. Dosed up on anti-histamines and went out. Wound up throwing up twice and spending the next few hours in bed. Think I'll take it easy this weekend. Throat feeling better, but still coughing and feeling crappy. No fever, though, no reason to worry about flu.
I love spring, except for the pollen.

I've been feeling increasingly lousy all day. Sore throat, muscle aches, coughing, runny nose, general malaise. It's consistent with the usual crapiness I feel every spring when the temperature changes and pollen floods the air ( Read more... )
