(no subject)
Well I haven’t updated for about a month so I suppose I will update. Not too much new is going on. I’m pretty excited that I started a new work out routine; I stated running and doing some body weight workouts. I really hope I stick to it and try to get in better shape.
I was able to submit all of my paper work for my Spain visa. I was so excited because in June I wasn’t able to get an appt until late August and that wouldn’t give enough time for my paper work to process but on Friday I just went to NYC at 8am and to the embassy office. The whole office was so nice and I went to talk to the guy before all of the people that had appointments so now the only thing I have left to do would be buy tickets and make reservations for a hotel for when I land. I really feel like this has been my main focus in my life right now, all this anticipation is being built up into this big adventure and part of my is ready to go and the other part isn’t really ready to let go of my life here.
As for my recent family news, there has been a lot going on and high drama. Last week my grandma fell and broke all of the bones around her left eye, it still looks really swollen and she has huge lacerations on her face. I really hope she’s going to be ok we are still waiting for the swelling to go down to see if there is blood building behind her eye. Right now it looks like she will be in the hospital for another few weeks and will need surgery to attach some of the facial bones back together. I thought this was helping keep my dad straight but he’s still trying to sneak his drinking in. He has been pretty good lately through, almost normal it’s been pretty good. He did have a scare that he had cancer, he found a bunch of lumps in his body but as of right now they are not cancer.
Dustin and I have been doing alright. We seem to be going hot and cold. It really makes it hard for me to figure out how to leave things when I go to Spain. Most of me really think that is we can’t make it work living in the same town there is no possible way it could work in different countries but we will see how it goes.
