Izumicon 2008 - A LONG overdue Con Report
*sighs* Ah, Izumicon. How I love thee. Izumicon Year 2 was a BLAST!
Unfortunately, I didn't take that many photos this year. I was more interested in looking around the con as well as getting everything for the KH Wedding ready.
Thursday Night
.So, me and one of my friend who cosplays as Temari (from Naruto as well as Roxas from KH) decided to go and pick up our badges early because they had early pick up while we were waiting for our Reno to get off work. Her wig had finally come in so we had to do an insane amount of styling in one night. We also had to make the cakes for the RoxasNamine wedding. Unfortunately, they weren't went up to get the badges printed yet, so we had to wait until 9:00, so we waited for Reno at Roxas's house while she made the cakes.
After Reno got there, we presented her the wig, went back to the con hotel and got our badges, then went back to my house to style Reno's wig. Took us from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am. So, we all went to sleep.
Friday (Day 1)
Friday, we woke up and started to get ready. Roxas had forgotten some of her cosplay in the chaos of the previous night, so Reno took her home to get the rest of her stuff. I got ready and went to the bank to deposit my paycheck and withdraw funds for the con. I was dressed in my street Vincent cosplay, so I got a few stares from the local norms. *giggles* It was fun. I took an accidental side-trip and got to the con at about 11:00 am.
Reno and I found SkyPirate, the wonderful con photographer who took these shots of my Street-Style Vincent and her Street-Style Reno: (Ignore the stupid con badges)

Aaaaand here's my uke. ^___^
Unfortunately, there was an accident involving my pants and some Ben & Jerry's around 2:00 pm, so I went home, tossed my pants in the washer, took a nap and returned out of cosplay to the con at 6:00 pm. The charity auction was fun, I got into a bidding war over a cute Tidus cosplayer and won a sharp, pointy dagger which I gave to Roxas because I know I can't get away with having weapons at my house yet.
Saturday - Day 2, The Wedding
So, Saturday was Cannon Vincent day. I got to the con at 10:00 am to start getting ready for the day and specifically the Kingdom Hearts Wedding. It was amazingly fun and featured our Roxas and Namine. Footage here:
The first part is the Ouran High School Host Club High Tea, it gets to the wedding a few minutes in. Vincent himself performs it. ^__^
