Confessions from the Cutting Table
*sighs* Where to start? RL has just been beating down on me right now. I've been in a monotonus cycle the last few weeks involving work and school and home. I'm needing something to break the spell, probably a cosplay photoshoot or something, maybe I'll go to Hobby Lobby and load up on Jewelry making supplies or something.
So, I've started working at Hancocks Fabric store, which makes it awesome because I get a 20% employee discount. Which means that I can get stuff for cosplay cheeper. ^__^ And I know what sales are going on. I need to go get some of the Asian brocade while it's on sale. That stuff is $9.99 regular and it's on sale for $6.99. I'm planning on making my Nuada cosplay from black silk, which is included in the Asian Brocade, and me and my Reno cosplayer have an evil plot planning involving a pattern we got on sale and lots and lots of Asian Brocade. Hehehehehe. What's also good is that I'm burning more calories, so I'm slimming down some, getting a more stream-lined shape and slimmer legs, which makes me extremely happy. I may start walking again so that I can get in even better shape.
But the problem with working now is the fact that I have to close every. Single. Night. And we close at 9:00 thanks to the Holiday hours. *headesk* I get home late which really zaps my creative abilities. I've been playing lots of KH II lately to try and off-set some of my frustion... Demyx is difficult to beat when you're skills are rusty and you're playing on Proud Mode. *shake head* Need to go level up more, methinks.
What was also pissing me off in the previous weeks was that my mother was thinking I was pregnant. That really ticked me off, because she doesn't trust me with my boyfriend, she thinks I'm gonna make a stupid mistake and end up pregnant. *headdesk* That was really ticking me off, especially since it was nearly that time of the month and I knew it, she was just convinced I had missed it in September.
Other than that, I'm doing okay. Need to get Aerith done as well as ask off for Izumicon. Only about a month away baybe!
