Oh... poor Mandarin! O_O It's never fun when your kitty is sick. I'm glad that it sounds like he's getting better. *snugs* Call me if you need anything, OK?

I will, thank you. *hugs*. I'm just confused as to how it happened. He didn't come out and say it was definitely a herpes thing, so I don't know. I don't like not knowing for sure what caused it. Meh. And he was squinky again this morning.

Hmm... What medications did the vet put him on? Herpes may be the most likely possibility, but it's not the only one. These things can actually be kind of hard to figure out in cats, if they're not ulcers. :-P

I'll have to check when I get home. It's a small little squeezy tube, but that's all I remember. He also told us to get GenTeel Severe drops from Walgreens.
