Ah, it's election time.
I totally remember why I hate politics. It's nothing but mud slinging back and forth, while each candidate covers it with empty words that everyone seems to think that candidate will come through on. But, democracy is a wonderful thing and I try to keep that in mind. I just can't wait for it to be over. I missed being able to vote last election by 8 days, but I wasn't terribly upset by it. I'll vote Republican in this election, because Obama reminds me too much of a Hitler-esque situation. He's a wonderful public speaker, with charisma and toothy smiles coming out of his ears. I'll be straight. I haven't watched the debates because I think all politicians-Democrat, Republican, Martians, whatever- are all full of shit. As George Carlin said, "Politicians are like diapers. They need to be changed often, and for the same reason." Exactly.
I actually typed out a rant about the Democrats and their blasted "spread the wealth" stuff, but I deleted it. One thing to say on that. I work for what little money I have. I'll be damned before I spread it to someone who didn't work for it. Newsflash. That's why communism works only on paper, not with people. Incentive. That's what runs everything. Economics 101.
