You know up till now I thought all the cosmic forces were against me, seeing as no matter how much I tried I could never find Neil Gaiman novels or The Dark Tower series.

In utter defeat, after having yet another book-store owner recommend me the Twilight and similar book series (Because apparently girls like me like those sorts of books*), I contemplated actually buying one of them.

And then I saw Neil Gaiman books staring right out at me. It wasn't even there before.
Then I contemplated writing a book like that.

I found the first Dark Tower book in the next book-store. With the whole rest of the series. (If I like the book I'll go buy the rest.)
A pattern, I sense one.

Still didn't find T. Pratchett's The Colour of Magic. Maybe I should start Writing that** story. Though, then the book might actually plop into my lap from out of thin air.

Real Life, it highly amuses me from time to time.

* Except for actual girls like me who don't like anything without homo-erotic references, gore, twisted (as in the really twisted and portrayed as such sense) relationships, scenarios featuring the Apocalypse, Fantasy, and maybe a character who really likes books.

** Though knowing me it would turn into something completely different, and probably the vampire-human interaction would include snarky wise-ass dialogue, lots of threats from the vampire's side to bite the human's head off, and attempts to kill the vampire from the human side, maybe bits of Lucifer grumbling about rock music and Micheal being a bad chess player, and possibly lots of yuri references, because I seem to have a speciality for writing Romantic friendships between girls.

Apparently I'm still in my Good Omens mood, forgive me. (At least I've stopped talking like that. It was an odd week to say the least having verbal footnotes while having an actual conversation can be very confusing for the other party involved.)

yay!, random, good omens, hobbies, insanity lives here, rant, *headdesk*, books, wtf?, real life, i has misplaced the anti-christ, crack
