Summary: It's the apocalypse, and this is the Book of Chuck.
Reasons for Reccing: This story is an absolute classic. It remains one of my favorite Apocalypse stories even though I read it ages ago. Dean's natural evolution into a leader is so well written, and Sam is with him every step of the way just like it should be. Even though the pairing is Dean/Cas, that's not the main focus of the story. The style of this story is different, with exerts from the media and the Book of Chuck, and not something I see frequently which only added to my enjoyment. Normally I would describe a story of this caliber as epic, but even that doesn't seem to do it justice.
