I'm Lame About Posting
Well, I am.
I miss LJ as it was. I'm off the internet a lot more than I used to be. FB is ok, I used to like it to keep in touch with people; however, the more focused on political discussions people get, the less interested I am.
I prefer the internet when I interact with people as social. I read different sources (without interacting) for news and politics. It's wearying to see every interaction with people turn into a debate that degrades into an argument. Even in person things don't go south as fast as they do across the glowing screen.
I'm starting to not even want to talk to many people anymore, since it isn't about personal discussions - it's about a cause or politics. The internet is my fun. I'm not on it all day long, I still refuse to be connected on my phone (seriously, I don't even text). It's liberating. I remember working when I could be online all day, I feel better being off and free. I just DON'T personally need it.
I can enjoy other things around me! I'm not even talking about forced socialization- but doing things that give results. I craft more. I notice more around me. I can better enjoy the little things I discover!
Maybe it's the location, or I'm enjoying an archaic lifestyle. Maybe I'm just a dying breed. (aren't we all now?)
On another note, I think Thor just figured out how to open the cabinet door of the kitchen island. Or I have a ghost. Freya is big and gorgeous. Both rabbits interact so well, even Freya has settled down bit by bit since her Spay during the winter. I can't believe I lived without rabbits!!! They make my day better.
