$2 Dinner
I'm pretty into $2 dinner right now. I go out buy the cheapest vegetables at the market - only enough to use immediately. Score some serrano chiles. Cook rice. Then throw down hardcore with the serranos in a curry or stir fry.
The resulting high is a nice addition to being really successful at being cheap as fuck.
I heard my roommates talking about spending $150 dollars to get a prescription card for marijuana, then spending $65 dollars a pop on weed at the dispensary. What morons. Any drug that costs that much is one I don't need to do...licitly.
Red Planet Records, save that bitch! I have real negative feelings about donating time and money to a place that has consistently ripped off the customer and the artist, refused to pay out on consignemnts, marked items as out of print when it was not true and now, misrepresented themselves as Riverside's "only independent record store." Por eso, this Red Planet Records benefit show seems like a collossal steaming load. And besides they are a business, not a charity. Then again, I would be far more inclined to let that slide if it was a place that really had benefited the community in any way besides giving a few awesome people jobs - they should get the benefit money, not the store itself.
