Weekly Update 10/1/07
Hmm, well what have I accomplished this week besides having a really good time? What news is there to give?
1. Well, I found out the street date for Heart of Grime’s street date will be one of the first two Tuesdays in November. I guess that would be the 6th or the 13th. I’m sure I’ll know by next week.
2. Recorded more for the next record and decided I’m making an EP called “Los Lonely Girls.” A preview is up on the myspace.
3. I hung out with Jamie all weekend and it ruled. We spent a good long time at the botanical gardens watching squirrels. We saw the movie 3:10 to Yuma, which was pretty great. Ate lots of good food, went to a wedding, watched Bill & Ted.
4. Chris and I saw Clark 8 play a killer set at Mr. T’s Bowl.
5. I didn’t manage to hang out with Mike Vidal on his birthday. It was Margot’s birthday too and ditto goes for that. Happy birthday to both of them.
Internet rumours are funny. Wikipedia and a couple bulletin posts say Ian MacKaye died. I'm pretty sure he didn't, but now he'll be relevant for about a day and a half. Best career move he's made in a while. It will be funny to see the results of this. This is a good demonstration of why people need to double source information from wikipedia.
