Day 6 - Another working day
OK, so it's another day spent facing the music.
The morning shift were told they were loosing a whole day's pay today.
Somehow, nobody came around today asking us (the afternoon shift) if we were participating. So, it looks like we might be paid for today.
In other news, the docking of pay became a reality. Tuesday is our payday, and staff who logged on discovered that they were indeed docked pay. So it's for real.
A, a colleague who I admire, came back from holidays to have a total fright today. The outside world just doesn't appear to know what a hellpit this whole industrial action has become.
I return home at 10pm, and have a few drinks and cigarettes to calm my nerves. When will it end?
