This is So Worng!
I just read this campaign on ONTD and I have to say I'm so disgusted with it!
First I have to say that I have no idea on the working of PETA, so all my commentary is directed only to the campaign.
Let me start of with saying that I'm a vegetarian, going for 15 years and very proud of it! However I have to say that I was twelve when I decided to stop eating meat, as you could imagine it didn't really go well with my parents or my friend; for quite awhile they believed it was only a phase and try to convince my to start eating meat again - it backfired. The more people tried to convince me to eat meat the more resolved I was to not eat meat. Now that I see this campaign all I can think of how useless it really is. It is my personal belief that people shouldn't eat meat but I would never try to force anyone to stop eating meat; this is basically what this campaign do, it try to shock you into not eating meat and a vulgar way. Like I said before I'm not sure what is PETA but from what the little understanding of it I led to believe it an organization against animal cruelty - this is just not the way to do it. people don't change their ways by force but with education.
