I’m halfway through my cup of coffee, and I already know I’m going to need a second one. I’m just so exhausted, which is ridiculous considering I slept for 8 hours. Though, they weren’t complete because one-by-one all three boys wanted to sleep in our bed. I don’t mind having an open door policy; after all, we’re mommy and daddy. But let’s face it kids; if you want us to be functioning in the morning and find where you left your “number-one-favorite-islander-hat” I’m going to need to sleep, without interruption. Even more so considering I worked two nights in a row. That’s the part of being a mom that wears me out. Not sleeping enough, or getting a good quality of sleep. But what evs.
And poor Brendan, he has to get up at 5am and then drive into the city after our nightly campouts. I’m always worried about his driving, (especially crappy rainy mornings like this) so I anxiously wait for him to text me once he arrives. I really don’t like to call him while he’s driving. I don’t want
one of this to be produced. Did I mention how much Brendan rocks though? He stayed up last night to clean up after the boys <3....
Second cup of coffee, here I come!
Then I’m determined to conquer Mt. Laundry, vanquish Lord Goldfish-Crackers from the Living Room Region and possibly beat Legomania in the playroom. After I pick up Brendan in the soggy and drippy weather, running over to the post office and mall to pick up a super cool gift I ordered from my sister's sweet 16. Oh Monday adventures, how I love thee!
