So after that depressing post, my professor gave me her recommendation letter, and sent me a copy in an email so I could read it.  I never knew people thought that way of me, and kind of made me think, that all of this hard work, all this sweat, stress and studying I'm putting into my life, might come to a good end...

That is a refreshing though.
