multiverse theory

I spend a lot of time thinking about the multiverse theory.

I truly believe that there are parallel universes out there. Physics supports their existence. We just need to find proof.

I subscribe to the school of thought that there are several universes out there, each with a version of me in them. I suppose this is a DC comics way of thinking about it, but it's...comforting? to know that. I don't know if that's the right word. But the thought of several Larrys out there brings me joy, because they're all going to be different.

I imagine Physicist Larry perfecting interdimensional travel and travelling to this universe, finding me. I'd be shocked, stunned even, but it would be fascinating to sit and talk with him...to see exactly where our paths diverged in order to find him at the forefront of interdimensional research in his universe and to find me as an assistant manager at the driver's license office.

Then we'd have sex. because obvs.

There's obviously a world where Larry is a WWE wrestler, The Big Kahuna, and he just won the WWE Championship by hitting the "Wipeout" on his opponent.

There's obviously a Larry that would be found at a drag show. on stage. as Wendy McDonalds, who was about to go film RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 2, seeing as how she was runner up of season 5.

There's obviously a Larry who's a BodyBuilder who's also in the state military, as part of the peacekeeping force. That world's a little darker and gritty and Tough Larry is determined to change this world for the better.

The Larry who I think about most, though, has a husband, a big strapping handsome man who Larry met in some random encounter and was so taken with Larry that he couldn't resist chatting and insisting on getting digits. and Five, six, seven years later, here they are married and happy.

I like thinking that somewhere out in the multiverse, there's a Larry that's happy. There's probably several Larrys that are happy. I need to try to tap into their energy and feel as powerful and dominant as Big Kahuna, as confident and sexy as Wendy McDonalds, as determined as Tough Larry, as loved and romantic as Married Larry. Because I'm Struggling Larry, and I need to try harder.
