-Speaking of Isaac. KATE. I LOVE ISAAC. He is the First. He is the best at controlling his wolf of the other Betas. Boyd is the smartest, and the strongest, but Isaac's control is really important. And his loyalty. And now that Derek has a new baby wolf (JACKSON FINALLY GOT WHAT HE WANTED SO BADLY) he's going to be even more crucial to Derek. Can I have all the scenes where Derek and Isaac are teaching Jackson how to be part of the pack? And cuddles. Lots of cuddles, where the three of them are all piled in a bed after a long night of running awkwardly on all fours through the woods. Derek will want constant affirmations that Isaac isn't going to leave him, and Jackson will want constant assurances that he belongs to the pack. With sex. And Lydia understands that it's a Wolf Thing and she doesn't interfere but he is still hers and Derek allows it (and her, sometimes, to join/watch) because Lydia will be Pack the same way Stiles is Pack, because they are package deals.
-I will probably never run out of things to say about Show but I have to shut up because I'm not even sure this will fit in one comment now. ETA: NOPE. IT DIDN'T. Jebus.
But I can't accept that DEREK accepts his reappearance so casually. (This is where the werewolf-bisections come in; if Peter had been cut in half, his resurrection would not have been possible. Important detail for strong alpha.) Let's recall that PETER KILLED LAURA JUST BECAUSE HE WANTED TO BE ALPHA. His niece, Derek's (apparently very beloved) sister. Killed her. Because she had something he wanted. Cut her in half. That's harsh. Sooooooo...where is Jeff Davis going with this? IDK, but he'd better fix it.
Pretty much. He's just…totes cool with it for the rest of the season. Hardly makes a peep. Which is so beyond stupid. Also why is he not the Alpha again? I figured he'd go back to being the Alpha once resurrected (and could take over Scott again). But nope. He's just…there? Illin'. They better DO SOMETHING with him.
Remember the scene in the library, when he's all THAT DUDE'S AN EVIL CREEPER and they show him offering his chips?
Okay, I did like that. But a lot of his stuff I was like, yeah, well, okay. (I saw a lot of his stuff way late at night. Also I often lapsed into "Where's Danny??" during his scenes. I need me some Danny, since we saw him FUCKING THREE TIMES in six episodes)
Yeah, the Argents are just a total clusterfuck and I can't believe he of the cold and dead eyes IE Chris is by faaaaar the most reasonable. Like, an almost 100% margin.
So is it because his "pack" (which at the time really just consisted of Alison and Stiles) doesn't have any other wolves in it? If he stole Isaac (this strikes me as a strong possibility), would he be an alpha then? Or does he have to make another wolf? SO MANY QUESTIONS.
Yes to alla these questions (although honestly I would probs be a little bored if those guys were their own pack, but I could see it happening down the road). I just found it really strange that Scott was totally allowed to bargain with Derek and say he'd join and then really casually shove Derek off without Derek like, smashing his face into a wall. I guess Derek let people leave at will but if that's the case then Scott's promise to join shouldn't have meant anything to him.
OH ISAAC BABY. His face when he helps that dog augh. I want a lot of stuff about how Derek turned him because he was easy and he was kind of like, Wow, you are sad. But Isaac needed him, in different ways than stupid, headstrong Scott needed him. And he tries so hard to be good and listen and he stinks of sadness so badly that Derek has to let him sleep in his bed.
