(no subject)
Yesterday (aka friday):
The spanish party was a lot of fun, even if only half the class showed up. Carmen is so crazy and we all just laughed and mostly talked in english. I really need to brush up on my spanish before going to Oviedo though. AND I have my spanish oral exam monday, yikes! I think I'll do it on el dia de los muertos or something since Carmen wants to go "trick or treating" on monday to all the first floor classrooms singing carnival songs in spanish. "Robo la gaina!"
Had dinner with Jess, Ginny, Joanna (Ginny's friend) and Sarah. I was silent the entire dinner because I feared that if I opened my mouth I would be horribly mean to Joanna because she annoys me to death, so much so that I would be a total bitch to her just to get her to shut up. Yes, never again will I have dinner with her. Ever. Sarah and I then proceeded to have an entire conversation in spanish while walking from franklin to the dorm. I then high tailed it out of there and over to Sarah's. Jess got pissy as I was leaving. I went to dinner with you, can't that be enough? I was saintly and didn't say anything, let me leave in peace!
Anyway. sat and knitted with Sarah while listening to music. We later put in Disney's Robin Hood, which was my favorite disney moving growing up. ^^; We were waiting for Sarah's room mate Mayuri to get back. When she did we put in Ever After and had a knitting party. ^^ Mayuri's so nice and it was relaxing to get away and watch a romance film.
Today (aka saturday):
Wasn't allowed to come home and attend Rebecca's halloween party back in the bury. Jess invited Rachel C and Berlinda to go with her (and I mean her because she organized it all and just kinda tagged me in) to the movies to see Man of the Year. I however changed my mind when I heard Berlinda was coming because she's being all weird to me. She unfriended me on facebook and I don't know why. So I'm a little pissed that she just can't tell me what's up to my face or over facebook. So yeah, Jess didn't seem happy but I didn't care and went off to the library to work on my pile of hw. I read a chapter and a half of HS before my eyes went all blurry even with my glasses on. I think I need to go to the eye doctor again... Was walking back via the campus center and I passed by the craft center. Called Sarah up to tell her the craft center was open and we could make free halloween masks. She came down and we made our own masks out of paper mache. It was a lot of fun and I wish we had had more time to work on them, but they were closing. I'll have to go back sometime on monday to paint and decorate it.
After that we had dinner and came and hung out in my room. We ended up watching David Bisbal videos (he's spain's american idol). He's hot and has an amazing voice. His songs are so sappy though. ^^:: It was at this point Ginny and Jess came back and had Justin and his gf come up to watch a video in our room. Sarah and I of course went back to her room. We watched Peter Pan, the live action version, with Mayuri and her friend Ash. It was relaxing to get away and I got a lot done on my truth snake scarf. We then watched SNL with the actor from House hosting it. Most of the show sucked and was all political "humor". If I wanted political humor I would watch Colbert. >.< It was all worth it though when House cross-dressed and wore a mini skirt with heels. Sarah and I couldn't stop laughing and it made up for the rest of the show being crap. Then I came back to the room where no one speaks to me. Mmm silence is golden; and I'm serious in my enjoyment of this. But seriously, I'm so tired of this crap. I'm so glad the semester is winding to a close soon or I might just have to do something drastic. Where did that feeling of peace I woke up with go?
