I normally don't write reviews of television shows but I figured what the heck. Besides I was wondering if some of my fellow "Trubies" might have had the same thoughts. So buckle your seat belts boys and girls because if you haven't watched the finale this review/semi rant is spolieriffic!

Now I am going to have to go back to the second book and reread to remember some of these characters. So has Bill been kidnapped by the Texas Vamps yet and has Eric gotten amnesia? Exactly which cliffs are hanging with who...I'm a little lost. Will reviewing book two help me or have the writers gone their own way? Inquiring mind wishes to know

I too liked the Eric/Sookie pairing in the books. The writer of the True Blood series however is making him a bit more of a villainous type. I think if he keeps up with that for too much longer it might be hard for some viewers to still look forward to that part of the story. My comment about the Eric/Sookie fan girls is because they are by and on the large the biggest group of rabid defenders of their pairing. Nothing wrong with that and all I just sometimes find it amusing.
Eric hasn't had amnesia yet. In the books that happened in the fourth book and the pacing so far seems a book a season but they incorporate other things from other books as well. So who knows when that will show up. I loved that particular book though and hope they go through with it :)

And haven't you found in every fandom there are rabid fans with their pairings ready to gather the villagers with their pitchforks and torches to flame you should you stray from theirs?
Anyway thanks for anything you can find to pass on to me.

I went there and I tried to play them to see if they worked and they did for me. If it doesn't work never fear I know there are others out there and it's really no problem for me to find them :)
YES!! I have noticed this about EVERY fandom. Rabid pairing syndrome. I find it amusing more than anything most times. I don't see the sense in attacking people over a difference in opinion. Especially when it's over something like a television show. I have also noticed that in every fandom there are people who insist on shipping an idea that is really insane. Those people can be super defensive too when you don't see what they mean.
