I saw New Moon and they didn't do as good a job as the last movie, Twilight. The main actress is terrible, have you seen her in any other movie? Same role everytime. If you can't be versatile in a role, your not very good. Anyway, I think you should read the books to get an accurate feel for the story line. My fiance's mom told us that Edward was vindictive and controlling, not at all like is portrayed in the movie. Thats just what she said though, I'd have to read it to actually know.

LOL when I went to see the movie (2012) wasn't playing there was a HUGE line with very young girls. In the theatre every time Jacob took his shirt off the girls would scream and oooooh. It was just as amusing as the movie. I think they were successful in bringing more money to the movie industry...

*laughs* you are right I think they have. I have heard other stories of the same thing about the young girls getting giggly over Jacob. I have also heard that Edward is different in the books.

Have you seen 2012 yet? Is it any good? I have been wondering about that one also.

I guess the actor who plays Jacob had to buff up to keep his part. Which for a movie deal, shoot I'd do anything (almost). He is tan, cuts his hair, and has niiiice abs so I see why the girls swoon lol. Edward has a pale, not so tight tummy (and his nipples are a little uneven).
I wish! It looks epic! If you go to their website, watch some clips and you'll see some of this conspiracy theory guy with his own youtube show. You can go to his very own blogger stie, which is cool. As well as it linking you to another site that is about the safeplace thing in the movie. Check it out, they did a lot of work on it! And watch how they made Las Vegas, that clip was pretty cool.

You bring up an interesting point about Edward. There are some people who are either fans of Twilight, but are Jacob fans, or are not fans of the saga at all but who feel the same negative way about the character of Edward- it all depends on personal opinion. However, I will point out that these accusations against his character do not come up until Book #3- Eclipse, which will be the next film- therefore so far Edward has still been portrayed the same in the films. Many may also point out his "stalkerish" tendencies in Twilight- and this is covered in the film as well- as he sneaks into her room, etc. It's all there. I think people have to see Eclipse first before anyone levels accusations that movie Edward is different than book Edward. Just my thoughts.

I have heard all kinds of things about the characters and such and I am interested in the movie.

The thing that really was aggravating me last night on journal is how many people think that hating a fictional character is a good way to spend time. That and how some people mock people for the things they like. That's what makes this world great you can like what you want and I can what I want and no one has to be nasty about it. I have found also that many people won't like something JUST because it is popular. I know it sounds like a stupid reason and surely is but people do do it. How is that any better than people claiming the "masses" are just flocking to something?

I love and appreciate hearing peoples opinions I just don't think it's right for people to be so nasty about it.

It's true- there are entire websites and forums dedictaed to the anti-Twilight movement, which is pretty sad and a real unbelievable waste of time.

That's very true too- but I think it's mostly due to people being so sick of hearing about something, they lose all interest in wanting to explore it.

I think that is true also sometimes you do just get sick of hearing so much about something.

I just think that if something is directed at a group of fans and you aren't one why even bother getting involved.

I agree with you about it being a sad waste of time.
