as of today i have exactly 1 month left at my current part-time/casual job as a web content creator. come June 7th i'll be jobless and will have to continue to be jobless for months and months... possibly all the way until next year.
i'm trying to work more hours before then, but it's hard. not because i'm only allowed a certain number of hours per week, but because one can only TOLERATE spending so many hours and days per week in one's apartment in front of the computer. after about 5hrs/day, 20hrs/wk in front of the computer you start to feel like you'll go crazy if you don't go somewhere. ANYwhere. you just want to leave the computer behind.
anyway, work has been going well. i've been drawing templates for kids to color, posting event information and updating a site. i'll miss the productivity (and the money, of course) once i'm jobless... i'm going to have to make sure i stick to some kind of schedule even when i'm jobless so that i keep up my productivity. maybe i'll get into drawing random things more? and i have plenty of blogs and sites of my own that need updating...
i think i've been doing better at not spending money lately, but i still have a lot to improve upon in terms of budgeting. it doesn't help that all of the hobbies that i'm into/want to take up require some amount of money.... but it's good to keep up hobbies, right? so splurging occasionally towards that isn't too bad, right? ;-;
god, i'm going to need so much validation when it comes to my expenses... hope i'll be able to enjoy Singapore on a strict budget.
