more knitting! + Wii + allergy? + no Japan?
earlier this week i finished my second knitting project. :) i made fingerless gloves/arm warmers!
my next project will be to make a matching scarf with the same yarn. :) but i've been kinda distracted.... because we bought a Wii. D: on tuesday David had the day off so we went shopping together. kinda a late 2yr anniversary/valentine thing... *nudges David* anyway, we ended up getting a Wii. unlike me, David's a gamer and had been wanting a Wii for a while. i could have gone either way on the issue, buuut since he wanted one i made sure that we'd also have Wii Fit to go with it. 8) i haven't even tried out Wii Fit yet, but i'm looking forward to trying out yoga on it. :) we also have Sonic Colors, which looks cool since i liked the original Sonic game.
changing the subject because i have too much to cram into this entry, just as i was going to bed on Saturday night something really strange happened... i'm still unsure about whether it was an allergic reaction or just a really bad, acute sickness, but whatever it was was kind of scary. :/ one minute i was feeling fine, the next my stomach ached really bad... after a few minutes of intense stomachache my throat started to feel funny and my nose started to get stuffy and drain down my throat.... suddenly it became hard and painful to breathe and swallow. the area underneath my eyes got really puffy and after 30(?) minutes of this i was completely warn out just from the effort it took to breathe. finally i took a benadryl and managed to get some rough sleep, but at 5somethingAM i woke up gagging from the stuff in my throat and threw up... i could breathe considerably better after that.
i have no idea what could have caused that to happen. aside from mosquito bites, i have no allergies that i'm aware of... we had eaten dinner at a restaurant around 3 hours prior to this happening, but could it have been a food allergy...? a really delayed but acute food allergy?? i swear i was feeling fine beforehand... i'm completely confused. :/ i really hope that i never have to go through that again.
anyway... a couple posts ago i said that me and David might be coming to Japan this summer, but now it seems that we might not be. David is thinking that he might want to go back to school again and the school year here starts at the end of July, which is when we had been planning to come to Japan to see Yosakoi etc... i still need to leave the country at the end of July to change my visa, but now where i (or we) will be going is unknown. we really need to figure that out so we can start booking stuff...
