...geez, i havent even so much as really looked at lj for a while.... i need to stop being so lazy. on the other hand, i DID atleast update my other blog twice... >_>;;
anyway, i don't really know what's happened since last post. i can't really remember... oh. Golden Week.
i went to Tokyo to attend an Esperanto seminar in Chiba. it was awesome. :) before the seminar i had one free day in Tokyo in which i wandered around and blew some money (my bad). first i went to Meiji-jingu, a big, beautiful shinto shrine near Harajuku. it was paaaacked and i even got to see the traditional japanese style wedding processions of 4(?) couples. :3 i got some of it on video along with a few photos that i'll have to upload... waded through the swarm of people in Harajuku for a bit until i bought something and decided that i best get out of there before i blew a lot more. what i bought was a leather chocker/collar in the style that i'd been looking for for forever. :) i'll where it once i'm in Australia because in Kochi something like that would stand out a lot and the last thing i need is to stand out even more, if that's even possible. D; anyway, thanks to my phone i found a GREAT mexican restaurant in Shinjuku. :3 actually, i ended up going there twice lol. before retiring back to my hotel i went to the office of the Japanese Esperanto Institute and left poorer than i arrived. ^^;
the seminar itself was aaawesooome-- i'm so glad i went. :3 i wont go into details about it here. if you know Esperanto and wanna hear more about it or just want to see photos, go here. at the seminar i saw people i already knew and got to meet 3 of my friends on Twitter for the first time in person. :) after the seminar i spent a few hours wandering around Shinjuku with 2 of them and of course had to introduce them to the mexican restaurant that i'd found. ;)
going back to work after GW was painful.... but i'm back into the swing of things, including bitching about 英語ノート. i still need to bitch about it here... eh, but not now. just this past tuesday my nenkyuu for the end of my contract was granted. of course, it was only granted because i finally got on T-san's ass about it again. -_- when i went to ask her about it monday it was still in the very same spot on her desk as it was a month ago except under more stuff. meh. anyway, i'm all set to book my flight to Australia now. i just gotta decide if i can afford to travel before going there...
wednesday i bought a new camera (yes, another one) and have started up a photoblog. :) but the camera and photoblog deserve their own entry, which hopefully i'll post tomorrow or soon after.
