which to get?

so, i really want to get a new phone mainly for international use and secondly for new awesome features. i`ve managed to (kinda) narrow it down to these two,. neither of which are carried by my current phone provider but that shouldn`t be too much of a problem*. which to get, though ( Read more... )

I'd say go for the iphone, but that's mainly because I have the ipod touch and I love it (especially for studying Japanese) - there're so many applications you can download and then use whenever you want to :)

i like the iphone`s selection of apps, it`s a big attraction to the device for me. but i just checked with Softbank, the phone`s only provider in Japan, and they refuse to unlock their iphones so that i would be able to use it once i leave Japan. :/ crap like that makes me think that i wont be getting an iphone...

You could try to get a cheap cellphone and instead buy the ipod touch?!

nah, i already have an mp3 player, i`m just looking for an international phone. but thanks for your comments. :]

I do have a mp3-player, too.
I bought the ipod touch mainly because it features all these awesome applications and so far I didn't regret it at all :)

I rarely use my cellphone, so I never even considered to have a cellphone with fancy apllications and stuff XD
