i want to post these before i go to bed, but i should be going to bed NOW! so this entry will be a quickie. maybe ill elaborate tomorrow. maybe.
i have finished my first two cats which have ever so fondly been named expericat (#01) and quickcat (#02). i really didn`t like how expericat turned out before i painted it... it looked like a combo between a cat and a dog (and so i also called it catdog lol), but after having painted it i liked it a lot more. quickcat is so named because i made it in a hurry. i like how quickcat turned out except that once i had painted it, because i painted the grooves/outlines of the cat`s limbs the same as its markings, it became a little awkward looking...? because at a glance (and especially when seen through a photo) its hard to tell what kind of pose the cat is in. D; oh well. anyway, behold my first creations!

expericat = watercolor (applied too thickly-- eep! will it crack?!) + no varnish (because varnish might smear watercolor, right...?)

quickcat = acrylic (i think i rather like acrylic!) + varnish (which resulted in making quickcat seem almost plastic irl lol)

i also made a pendant that i think turned out pretty cool, but i wont take a photo of it. :p a little
まねきねこ is also in progress, but i just threw it together out of leftover clay, so i dont expect it to turn out to be much.
