i feel sickish. :[ thank god tomorrow's a holiday...
friday night i had this weird bump on my arm and had no idea where it came from, and then saturday morning i woke up and it was huge. :[ and it hurt. i wasn't sure if it was an allergic reaction to something i had eaten or a bug bite, but i hadn't eaten anything different than usual on friday... today i woke up and the swelling had gone down, but there was now a smaller red circle with a little bump in the middle. and it itches. i take that clue to mean it was indeed a bug bite. :[ whatever bit me did a number on my arm lol...
yesterday i woke up with a sore/dry throat for no apparent reason, so i just figured i had slept with my mouth open or something, but today it's started developing into coughing and having to constantly clear my throat. :[ this really sucks... u_u i know nothing about meds in japan if i do get sick, and... yeah. i refuse to go to a hospital here or anything. i really really hope that tomorrow i will start feeling better because i really don't want to go to work coughing on tuesday... and they probably wont want me at work coughing lol... and i refuse to wear the
masks that people wear here when sick. those things are friggin' attention-getting and embarassing, i really don't understand wearing them and going about your day normally. i would be too annoyed.
u-u i've been drinking zinger tea that i got from the import store a while ago and it's been helping a little. oh! and omg, i had the best dinner tonight. D: i bought
"nikujaga" from the grocery store today because a friend had recommended it to me and it was friggin' AWESOME. tastes similar to beef stew in america and it was SO cheap. 198yen before the discount that i got, which is less than $2 USD. xD i have decided that i will now eat nikujaga often and i will buy 2 servings instead of 1. :'x it was really nice.
anyway... please get better throat. i should have brought some throat lozenges or something with me from america... D': i'm kind of scared of meds in japan because of all the scary things i've heard from other non-natives.
