Beach Bummer
the plan was to go to the beach today, we're picking up $5 subs and heading to the pier, but I just got some bad news and now I just feel bummed.
My close friend L was diagnosed with Lung and Bone Cancer. probably metastasis from her Breast CA years ago. We thought she was cured; it came back. Lung Cancer has a poor prognosis, as does bone cancer. I cannot stand the thought of losing L, and yet it is a real possibility. How can such a lovely person be taken away like that? She has a young daughter who will need a mommy around.
I am filled with life, looking forward to what's next in store, chasing after my hopes and dreams. then there is death. what if my mom or dad get diagnosed with cancer?
