Mysterious Itch AGAIN
Had a recurrence of the weird itch reaction Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?) night. Was a big one too. The bump behind my left ear swelled up (so did the one behind my right, a little), my palms turned bright red (from rubbing them?), and the itch was everywhere. Took two antihistamine pills, which I don't usually do, so the feeling when they hit was weird. Then my lower lip went tingly and Jen said it looked weird. When I checked the mirror I thought so too - puffy and stiff like after novacaine. Of course this was in the middle of a thunderstorm, so I couldn't take a hot shower. Scratched my ears with a cotton swab, my head with a sharp comb, then paced around and around the living room slapping at myself. I couldn't sit still.
Think I scared my kid, a little. Know I scared my wife a little.
When it finally died down I collapsed like a puppet with cut strings and went to sleep at 9 PM.
This is very weird.
