Lately I've been re-reading the Warriors books
Or Warrior Cats as I hear they are called in some places.
I'd forgotten how dark they were. I remembered the bit at the end, when one of the villains gets disembowelled and dies nine times in a row because his resurrection magic can't fix an injury that bad, but I forgot how quickly they get dark. I'm loving Unova more and more.
I came to Pokemon late (started with fourth gen) so I've never done the "new generation" thing before, and I was worried I wouldn't like the new pokemon or I would think the region was set up badly or any of the other complaints people have been making for years. But no. It's brilliant.

Fanfic names
I've been choosing names for the characters of my next fanfic. This is a long and arduous process, but I've just about got it now.
I like Diyar (Kurdish, "gift"), Mila (Slavic, "gracious, dear"), and Ketevan (Georgian) or Katica (Slovene/Croatian, coincidentally both variants of Katherine so could mean anything).
