Class. I'd like to go around an ask everyone what solos they'd like to hear me perform at sectionals fics they'd like to hear me turn into podfic.

It is pretty amazing. Like others have said, probably waay too long to podfic (it's like 70K, woops!) but amazing so you should read it if nothing else.

My other suggestion would be to read anything by Keitorin Asthore. She's got an amazing story going right now called Goodnight where Burt takes in a young Kurt who's left by his mother who's abusive and it's just all around cute and angst and awesome.

I was about to suggest "Fix" by Rainjoyswriting, but that's waaaaay longer than 20.000 words, so.
My other choice is "In the haze" by tara1031 (also a firefighter AU). That one is written, beautifully, in a dreamlike way, which I'm sure will make a great podfic.

I do looooove me some Fix, but I'm not yet looking for my next saga podfic. Girl has to have a little downtime, after all! I clearly need to start reading me some firefighter AUs!

Well, of course I would let you podfic anything of mine, but I haven't posted that much that's PG-13 except my BIOTA fic (why? why? I never set out to write porn, but it just keeps happening), so ...

I like Cemetery Song for Spring, by Kappa: http://kappafic.livejournal.com/4795.html. It's a filler for Scholars and Gentleman 'verse, after the wedding and before the baby. But it's almost as long as everything mary_flanner has written for S&G - like 30,000 words or so.

Where There's Smoke is also excellent, but long; there is a scene in there that's a bit smutty, but it's also kind enough to be a bit euphemistic, so maybe it would work?

I like all of Lesley_green's short stories, and they are all PG or G. She has a cute one that plays off of Jane Austen's Emma. Blaine is Emma, of course.

Haha, someday I'm going to choose something that's straight up NC-17 PWP smut and read it as an example for why it shouldn't be done by me. This firefighter AU is really popular, I'll have to check out how long it is.

P.S. I remembered how you said you don't do smut when I was listening to Oceans, and every time you had to say "dick," which was only two or three times (sigh), I wondered how you did it.
