i dunno what's with you guys but i'll lay down an entry in your absences.
it may help that i am in the first paragraph of writing my german final and i am searching deperately for a delay before I really have to get down to work. in any case i should hope this triggers the MIA claudias, joanas, and elizabeths to get their acts together and inform me of their lives via livejournal; as intended by my account founders back in the 10th or 11th? grade.
life is pretty alright, lot of work which has been interesting. apparently i got used to a pretty relaxed life style while i was over in germany. getting back to the US has been pretty rude. not much down time. it doesnt help that everything i did while an underclassmen is now in desperate need of leadership. needless to say, i jumped into a bunch of those roles. my newest involvement, which has also served as my creative outlet because world politics can seem somewhat stunting at times, has been the magic of slam poetry. a friend of mine and i have been running the on campus slam group which performs twice a semester. i do a more hip-hoppy thing, but it is really fun to get up on a stage and "spit fire" as we like to call it. my last rap was about how much i hate rick santorum. it was sweet, only made sweeter by his failure to win reelection to the pa senate seat. i also brought home the first winning record of the hamilton ultimate team in my four years here. we went 12-6 and this season which is esp big since i am the only senior on the team, so hopefully that sets the precedence for several more years of success to come. at the very minimum i hope to see you all over winter break but problems exist: A. claudia is bad at picking up telephone calls. B. I do not have joana's cell number (one of many i lost while in germany) C. Liz is prob in texas or somewhere ridic D. I will be in georgia right before getting home and beginning the real stay of winter break on dec 20th. hopefully that covers minor updates and points of interest and spurs responses and freindship reinvigoration processes. excellent.
