Woman Undone

Long time, no see :)
I've been around but I haven't time to post or I simply didn't have anything interesting to say.
However... I watched Woman Undone a couple days ago and kept postponing this post but now,
here it is.
I believe most of you have already watched the movie and I would love to know what how you feel about it.
Mary is awesome as she always is. I think her character in this movie was a great challenge, I believe a character like this is a great challenge for any actress because there were moments of angst, of violence, of sexual chemistry and huge physical contact scenes, I mean, those sex scenes.
Mary is huge in the first sex scene with her husband. As a woman and a wife Teri was looking for love and the husband was brutal. This scene should had been very difficult to film for both of them.
I know Mary always chooses her characters very carefully and I believe she played this, not because Teri is a promiscuous wife who cheats her husband, but because she loves him and she killed him for loving him. In a situation like that I feel that only a very determined person would do what she did. I think she killed him because she didn't want him to suffer as much as he would if she didn't shot, but maybe I'm mistaken :S
By saying this all I'm not apologizing her for cheating on him,I understand why she cheated, but she still is guilty for cheating. Those were the only moments when she felt she was loved and have some tender moments.
Anyway...
I loved the movie and Mary's performance. Randy Quaid was also fabulous acting. I felt creepy when he hit her *rrrrrr* She could have done anything, but he lost every reason when he decides to hit her, not to say when he decides to kill her...

I'm happy because rumor has it that one of my favourite singers is coming to Portugal soon and I have to go to the concert *dances*
Also I'm finally on holidays, but with lots of work to do. Today I'm going shopping with some friends and then I'll go shopping again with my parents, but I'm not in the mood of spending lots of money. I'm still sick (with a flu) and not feeling as I usually do.
"Anyway the wind blows"....
