Lubbock with Jamie and Hangover
Last weekend Aaron and I went to Austin to visit my brother and "attend Longhorn Saturday," sadly, the latter never actually happened. David lives in Whitis Court A and I really love his dorm! It's really neat because it's a smaller community and they're all really good friends, except for the snobby girls who go home every weekend. Aaron and I came back Saturday night and went to a party at Tyson and Brad's place. The next morning Jamie Lee and I drove up to Lubbock to visit her brother at Tech. Jeff's dorm was a lot different. Sneed is GIANT and unisex. Jeff didn't seem to be the social butterfly he was in San Angelo. WOW. Jamie and I ended up watching band practice at Texas Tech the next day. Um... hot drum line.
I missed an entire week of school. It was horrible. Not really, it was mostly relaxing. It was only a four day week and I was sick on Tuesday and Wednesday, then we had a game in Lubbock on Thursday evening, so I missed everything after third period on that day. We all got home around 3:00 AM from the game, so I crashed until about 4:00 PM on Friday.
Yesterday I took Aaron to Austin, yet again. We saw the UT game and ate Chipotle, but we mostly tried to beat traffic (which was surprisingly successful) out of Austin. We got home around 11:30 or so. It was a good trip.
Today I must finish my college applications and ponder the question: UT or A&M?
