HAHA - OH yes. Yeah, general audiences have not had enough time with Nora/MT to really care about their character arc. I know above I left out and Option Four of it being Punchy's wedding, or some other random person - but that would make even less sense than a Barney/Nora wedding. It kind of makes me laugh/sad that some people still think it's Punchy's wedding...yes, they are going to slowly build towards Punchy's wedding for the next couple seasons...HAHAHA.

Definitely will see you at the gun-shy shippers support group. It's not fun.

It really, really is not. In most cases I'm fine with it because there's so much awesome fic that can replace the stupidity of the show, but sometimes I WILL NEVER RECOVER.

Which brings him to the dark place of wondering what's wrong with him if Barney and Robin get happily ever after before he does...cue future wife.

I think the biggest disappointment for me will be that if the writers don't go this route, they are literally making the stupidest mistake ever. Like I said up there, past-storyline wise it would make bucketloads of sense - and definitely for Ted's story as well. It just wouldn't make any sense for it to be someone else...
