We can love our pets, we just can't LOVE our pets.
Today has been a great day.
Granted I am exhausted from working all weekend I am just in a great mood today because Shannon is home from Cabo and Michael and I adopted a little kitty cat. It was a nice little fiasco though at first. Here's why.
We went to the APL to look at this cat that he found online named Ferusia. She was this beautiful black cat. very sleek looking and just gorgeous. Well here is the story behind that cat. When we went into the the shelter to look at her and play with her the girl there told us basically that this cat is insane. So we took her out of the cage and she was ok with me holding her for a minute. Then when we went to put her back into the cage and she CLIMBED UP THE CAGE. After she climbed up the cage she was literally walking on maybe an inch of a ledge trying to avoid being touched. So we instantly decided to not adopt that cat.
We all continued looking at kitty cats and Michael looked at another really pretty black cat that had some light stripes in his coat. And I was looking at this really cute black and white kitty who was so friendly and so adorable. And we were going to adopt the cat but the people said they needed a copy of his lease and his mom needed to come in and aprove the adoption because her name is on the lease and not his. Granted he doesnt live there but his apartment place says NO ANIMALS at all and since they needed a copy of the lease he just decided to use his mom's address instead of his own. So we went to the place that Shannon bought Marty.
They had one little kitten left. He was so freaking cute. A little spastic because he was nervous. But otherwise adorable. We were playing with some toys with him and there were the one that when you squeeze the toy it makes noise. Well it absolutely terrified him and shannon was holding him and he went to jump away and scratched her neck then when I went to grab him he scratched my hands and then bit the shit out of my hand and actually drew blood right between my thumb and pointer finger. I didn't mind I have gotten worse from cats before. So we adopted him. He is the cutest little guy ever. We haven't picked out a name yet for him but we are thinking about Twitch because when he gets scared his little tiny tail twitches and it is so cute. But I think we finally decided to call him Cosmo. He is absolutely perfectly adorable.
I am officially not stressed anymore. I finally paid off of my tutition today. And I made over 200 dollars friday saturday and sunday combined at work. So I am very very proud of myself. And if everything keeps up the way it is business wise at work then I will beable to have my credit card completely paid off and still have enough cash to buy a lap top and the other things that I want to buy. I'm not worried about stuff financially anymore and I feel like I am for the most part kind of independent. yay me.
