and fuck you
for existing in the first place
i got my ass handed to me by my calc test, which means this weekend I need to study like crazy for my other classes. but i'd rather update lj in my attempt to return to regular updating.

yesterday we went to see Breach, but missed the first show so we watched Norbit before seeing the later Breach.  Norbit wasn't as bad as you would think, but still not very good. Breach was really good, the acting was intense and the story is  interesting.  i generally like true stories (barring awful horror films based on crimes), more along the lines of crazy guys like a beautiful mind and aviator.  today's exciting plans consist of getting an oil change, volunteering at the hospital, seeing the vagina monologues, and doing homework till the wee hours of the night.  tomorrow consists of resnet then homework.

<3 ur computer week was pretty successful, a lot of people came to the carnival and to the LAN party, but sure how the information sessions went.  I accidentally said the f word in front of my boss, not to her but near her, and I know she heard.  She is kinda reserved, she is a powerful woman making a lot of money, but she acts as if it happened by chance, and she def. believes in women being children making domestic machines, very feminine, very polite objects to porn, illegally downloading music, cursing, and women talking about non lady like things.  she is still cool cause she will fire you on the spot if you use gay or fag derogatory, which is important in the kind of environment resnet it.  plus she is mad hot, she is attractive, smart, and powerful.  i've decided i like people at both ends of the spectrum, very powerful in control of their life people and very powerless people who need to be scooped up and protected.  acceptable variation: people who come across as powerful and in control, but privately are willing to let you know when they need you.  parag and i decided girls that have outward confidence, but are somewhat insecure with you are the best.

on an exciting note, 15 days until puerto rico.  alex and i booked our tickets last night, and the hotel.  we are going Sunday the 4 till Thursday the 8 of march.  it is a good comprimise of length, to still see my friends and family at home, but to fully rest off the stresses of this semester.  we booked a room for four in a nicer hotel cause ricki and cory are coming.  i love puerto rico, not only is it beautiful and fun, it is the most reasonable priced thing ever.  The plane ticket is 250, yet the room for 4 days is only like 150.  making a trip to one of the furthest islands is cheaper than most trips in the US.  it is the same price at the pitt sponsored trip, which is a motorcoach to panama city, fl.  as you can tell i am pretty psyched.  casinos, beaches, bars, clubs, museums, caves, forests, rum factories, forts, and all sorts of sites for trouble making.  we are staying in a different beach area than last time (we were in isla verde last time, and we are going to condado this time) so maybe there will be new exciting things.  potentially hookers/strippers???  still not sure what i am going to do about money though, while it is incredible cheap for what it is, and I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity, not gonna like lie I don't really have any money.  I could borrow some, i could take it out of my college money, i could just scrap by when i get back, i could try to cash out some of my resnet money, i could use my credit card, but i think i will just sit back and hope the tax refund fairy will be here before we leave.  although my tax return is weak, it is as little as my very first return when i was 14.  cause i had two jobs this summer, the second job at the pharmacy didn't take any taxes out, because i made so little money.  but really i was responsible for tax on that money because my total income was like 5 times that.  Luckily I paid enough in at the other job that i still get a refund, not a bill, but it is weak.

alright back to the world of homework.
