Day...

I woke up this morning to discover my Grandfather is in the hospital. My Grandmother took him in early this morning for chest pains. With him you never know. I saw him at the mall on Thursday. It was a little strange (last person you'd expect to see at the mall). He was...surprise of all surprises...returning something to Brookstone. Keep in mind that this is the man who sued Altel for a million dollars (very seriously) because apparently they promised him an extra line for free and then denied it to him causing "physical trauma because of stress". Rest assured, the guys at Brookstone didn't just get their product returned to them.

Anyway, it looks like he'll be okay. He usually. I've become a bit desensitized to his hospital visits. He usually turns out just fine. If not, he's lived a good life and I have my peace with him. I love him very much and I've accepted the fact that some day - probably very soon - he'll depart from us. I'm okay with that.

I wanted to go to the St. Francis show today but anyone and everyone with a car was busy. I tried to figure out the bus schedule but by the time I came anywhere close to deciphering the maps it was too late. I can't wait to get my license.

I'm just about finished with The Portrait of Dorian Gray and it is seriously one of my favorite books of all time. I'm infatuated by it.

I should probably go do homework since I've been putting that off for...let's see...since...FOREVER!!! I hate homework (and sometimes school but SHH!! don't tell the smart police)
