Old Flames, Lost Friends
I was just having a dream about one of my schoolboy love interests, and woke wondering what has happened to her. Then I thought about others, and wondered too what has happened to them. I would love to meet up with them, see how their life has gone, share some anecdotes, etc. So if anyone reading this has any idea who, what or where these people are, please let me know!

Allana (aged 5)
This was a girl I spent some time with at Butlin's Holiday Camp in Skegness when I was about five years old (1986).
We met the same week in early May about three years in a row, and spent time chatting and dancing (awww). I don't know her surname, but she will be about 23 now.
Anna Yates (aged 6)
This girl lived next to my grandmother and was the first girl i sent a love letter to. We used to play together in her back garden. Her family moved to the south coast and I lost contact. She is now a doctor or nurse at Warrington hospital in Liverpool, though I don't have any contact information. I tried calling the hospital but they said they couldn't give out staff details nor could they passed on any message for me :-(
Veronica Grebecki (aged 10-11)
THe first girl I sent a valentine's card to, although I left it anonymous! Veronica was only in West Bridgford for a year before moving on again. I have no idea where she might be, but she is of Polish descent so she could have gone back to Poland.
Claire Thomas (aged 13-18, and lingering warm fuzziness)
Oh the pain of unrequited love! She moved to Nottingham from Newcastle and joined my form. We built up a good friendship but it took me two years before I told her I was interested. She laughed me off :-(
I watched her date all the guys in our year whom I held in the lowest regard. The weed smokers, the arrogent/dumb/lowlife types. It hurt but I tried to remain at least friends. After telling her of my true feelings though she spurned me, and we hardly spoke after, certainly not to the extent that we had done when our friendship was strongest.
In other news…
I have for the first time in my life found someone that is on the exact same wavelength as me (intellectual, spiritual, sexual, recreational, etc). And she's single! And cute! *bouncy bouncy bouncy* She seems to be interested in me too so I'm definitely going to pursue this.
Now I have to work out how I'm going to let down all my other women…
