En passant
The beginning of this semester has been more hectic than it has any right to be. I'm developing code for every aspect of my academic life: my coursework and both my independent and lab research. I find this creative design work very engaging but very time consuming.
Wait, I'm not writing any code for my teaching assistantship. I might, though. The code available from the website for the text book is pretty atrocious, at least judging by the Java version. Also, the professor seems very optimistic about students' internal motivation and time commitment. I already saved the students from one truly formidable assignment that would have been due on Thursday.
I need to sleep. I went to the gym for the first time in over a month on Monday, but I didn't make it this morning. At this point, "tomorrow" morning isn't looking too likely, either.
