Unwed Sailor

so i got my paper done today about at about 1 p.m., turned it in, and edited my group's video for a couple hours. i should be able to easily clean it up pretty good in about an hour tomorrow. it is just a rough cut so my teacher i doubt that my teacher is expecting a whole lot. we still have another scene to film and some little transistion things. hopefully, we get that stuff shot pretty quick since the final cut is due on the 19th.

about 4 p.m., jezy, brendan, logan, and i departed to norman. we went to Size records, bought our tickets for Unwed Sailor and looked around for a while. afterwards, we went to Bison Wiches. it was soo good. elisa called me and said she was going to take a break from studying for her chinese test, so my friends dropped me off with her for about an hour and then she took me to The Opolis before the show. things were kind of weird. she was just playfully mean to me the whole time and didn't act too excited to see me. it was probably just due to the fact that she has a huge test tomorrow and a lot of stuff to work on. i have no clue. we are just good friends, but i act all girly and dorky around her and she gives me a hard time about it. need to work on being more gangsta around her. she showed me her rap skills tonight and i was quite impressed. oh man.

The opening band at the show, Bell Reve, is from oklahoma city. They were pretty good for a local act and i think they have a lot of potential. i'd like to see them again in about six months. Unwed Sailor was fantastic. Almost everyone just sat down on the floor (the band sort of encouraged it) which was very nice for a band of their style. It was good to relax and really enjoy the music. I'd like to see them again at some point. they have a new cd coming out in february and judging by the new songs that they played tonight, i think it should be pretty good.
