the distraction, a conflict of
I have a ten page paper due tomorrow and I'm almost done, but I keep get getting distracted. I just want to look for other things to do...like get on here. It is funny, I usually only get on myspace, livejournal, and xanga when i have something to do.
Tyler, Jezy, Logan, and I are going to Unwed Sailor tomorrow night in Norman. It should be pretty good though I wish Early Day Miners were playing with them like the last time they came through.
On Wednesday, the rough cut for my group's short film is due for my video production class. I'm the editor, so I've got to get it looking all right by then. The problem is that I'm the main guy in the video and it annoys me to watch myself so I've been avoiding editing parts of it. I should have some time tomorrow afternoon to get that done before we leave.
A bunch of us got Sigur Ros tickets on Saturday for the show in Ft. Worth on February 27th. Elisa and I got tickets on the center of the front row of the lower balcony, which shouldn't be too bad. I thought the tickets were going to be on ticketmaster like almost all their other shows on this tour, but they were through the Bass Performance Hall's website. So when I finally found the website at noon, the tickets had all ready been on sale for two hours and several of the sections were all ready sold out. I can't wait. They were amazing when I saw them last time in Dallas at the Granada. I've probably been to over 200 shows and they were by far the best concert I've ever been too. (The Flaming Lips have my award for best live *show*, but that is a totally different thing). It was just a beautiful experience. I'm pretty sure I had goosebumps and cold chills throughout the entire thing.
oh yeh, by the way, my brother had his Eagle Scout award ceremony yesterday. i'm pretty proud of him. it takes quite a bit of work.
i hope that i can use mine someday to help me get a good job.
