So stopping by lj and reading some of my "friends" posts got me pumped about writing in this thing again. I guess I don't feel like writing because not a whole lot of interesting shit seems to be going on for me. But since I kind of decided to dedicate this journal to the fact that no one knows about it (except jeremyc) and therefore I can write things ( Read more... )

This is in no way connected with this particular post. I just wanted to say hello actually....I came across while doing a search for users who had defined "koolaid" as a favorite. Go figure...I assumed I'd run into the "less than 12" crowd, who also listed Pokemon. It feels almost intrustive reading your LJ in that it's so deeply personal, that I'm almost sorry I have. But I had to say hello to someone who listed Manu Chao, koolaid AND fishing as favorites. *laughs* Kale spera.

Hello back nickinitaly April 30 2002, 02:57:53 UTC
Don't feel sorry. My shit is a little personal because I (so far) have only used lj to vent deep, personal feelings. If you're more interested in my regular shit and what the hell I'm really doing in italy, you should check out our website. Incidentally, I looked through your journal a bit and website, and I am amazed that it happened to be koolaid that became the determining common detail about us, since I see so many other things more meaningful that we have in common. Good to have met you.

Koolaid isn't meaningful? My world...has somehow shifted.
*laughs*
Actually, I've browsed through the WAOAM site a few times, and I'm amazed to see that it started off as a group of people from the same college. It's quite difficult to find people with the same outlook, or even the same lack of outlook, as yourself. It impresses the hell out of me that you gave up the corporate lifestyle to become this amazing free spirit. That took a lot of guts, and even more to stay put once you landed where you wanted to be.

nicky nicky - problem with alcohol? who doesn't? i think alcohol is always a problem. if you think it is, in any way shape or form, that usually means it is. that doesn't mean you need to not do it, it just means you need to do it responsibly, as to lessen the problem. if that doesn't work, then you really have a problem. what do they call alcoholic anonymous in italy? hehe.

i haven't been doing this LJ thing much since I signed up, but plan to pretty soon. you probably won't even check this comment anytime soon - so i might as well just talk all my shit when i see you next week after your trip back to Cali. caio puto.
