(no subject)
Well, I'm all alone at home. I don't even go to church much anymore because I'm gone every weekend, but I'm not lonely. I'm just spending my days coaching and swimming. I'm just so excited for Caellin and Jacob's wedding this weekend!
I'm gonna bawl like a baby! I get misty when I even THINK about it. I was listening to the Scrubs volume 2 soundtrack, and there's a song called "Question" by The Old 97's about a guy proposing, and I started crying!!!
I got to see my old discipler the other night. She's back in California from nursing school at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore! We went to an amazing little restaurant called The Red Smoke Grill, where we got amazing tri-tip sandwiches for $6, including tax! Plus, we both got dessert and nibbled off each others' plates. I got a yummy slab of bread pudding that had COCONUT all over it, and Issa got a chocolate coca-cola cake. The called it "cocoa-cola cake." Clever, eh?
I got a bunch of glass bowls from Bed Bath and Beyond today. I'm gonna use them to make a watermelon bombe, which is like a layered ice cream cake, made to look like a watermelon. I'm excited. My sister's made a bunch, and I tried some last time I visited. Inspired me to make one myself.
I'm gonna see a doctor soon about my 2-month-long cough. I hate seeing the doctor because it's usually $20 co-pay for them to say something like, "Drink plenty of water," or to refer me to another doctor who will charge me another $20 co-pay.
Lunch with an OEX projectmate tomorrow-- a one Miss Lindsay Ringer. I'm stoked!
